476 patients have become victims of COVID-19 in the country

In Ukraine, 20 patients with the coronavirus COVID-19 died in the last day. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to data from a monitoring system for the spread of coronavirus from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Therefore, yesterday there were the highest number of deaths from coronavirus per week. More were recorded on May 7, then 21 patients died. The total number of victims of COVID-19 in Ukraine increased to 476 people.

It should be noted that as of the morning of May 15, 17,330 cases of COVID-19 infection were confirmed in Ukraine. At the same time, 483 people were infected in the last day. This is the third day in a row, when the country registers an increase in the number of new diseases.

It was also reported that in the Vinnitsa region, the abbot of the Moscow Patriarchate Ukrainian Orthodox Church church, who had previously been confirmed infected with coronavirus, died. The priest had several concomitant illnesses.

Earlier, RBC-Ukraine wrote that the total number of deaths recorded by coronavirus in the world exceeded 300 thousand. In total, around 4.5 million people were infected with COVID-19 worldwide and, at the same time, more than 1.6 million people were already cured.
