– When will the UPL resume?
– Today was a club business meeting. The meeting was attended by the 12 clubs andThe vast majority supported the idea of resuming the championship on May 30. But also in this situation, everything depends on the government’s decision. If the situation allows, the UPL will resume on May 30.
– At the moment, it is known that the election of the UPL president should take place on May 25, but there is information that an indefinite postponement is possible.
– This issue was discussed at the meeting, but I propose to wait for an official decision.
– How are UPL clubs doing with coronavirus testing?
– At this time, most clubs have already been tested for coronavirus. Those who have not yet passed agreed on a testing schedule with the labs and will soon pass the tests. Some clubs already have test results available, some are still waiting. At the moment, not a single positive test has been recorded.
The medical protocol will be agreed with the corresponding ministry. And only after that will the admission of soccer players to the matches take place.
– What is the probability that the first six can be played in Kiev, and the last one in Lviv or the Dnieper?
– This topic was also discussed at today’s meeting, but most clubs support the sports principle. Therefore, this will most likely not be done. But everything will also depend on the recommendations of the health care structures.
