Doctors discussed the symptoms of a mysterious inflammatory syndrome, which is seen in children with coronavirus. It resembles Kawasaki disease, or infectious toxic shock.

The main symptoms are a temperature lasting more than five days, a skin rash, an enlarged cervical lymph node, red eyes and skin in the area of the fingers and toes, diarrhea, as well as dry lips and the appearance of cracks in them.
The disease mainly affects children under the age of five. You should go to the doctor immediately if these symptoms are found in children, because the earlier you start treatment, the lower the risk of complications.
Recall that in New York State (USA) three children died due to the inflammatory syndrome. In the UK, there has also been an increase in the incidence of this syndrome. Doctors associate it with coronavirus infection.
