Ukraine’s Cabinet of Ministers allowed non-food markets to open as part of the weakening quarantine. This is stated in the message on the government portal.
It is reported that an extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers was held today, in which amendments were made to decree no. 211 of March 11, 2020, which allows to restore the work of non-food markets.
According to the Minister of Health, Maxim Stepanov, these changes will allow the restoration of complete commercial services for the population.
“Non-food markets will operate subject to sanitary and epidemiological safety measures based on the principle of food stores. The decision will take effect after publication,” the report said.
Recall, it was learned that Lviv opened non-food markets, visa centers, as well as clothing, clothing and shoe stores with direct access to the street since May 15. In addition, starting next week in the city, shopping centers and all clinics will begin.
It should be noted that a plan for the resumption of transport was previously presented. The plan consists of three stages, the first of which already plans to restore urban passenger traffic.
