The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) called for the extension of the ban on the use of Russian social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki, Mail.ru, Yandex.

The extension of sanctions to Russian social networks and sites was supported by the Verkhovna Rada. In a meeting on May 13, 248 deputies voted for the document.
