The results of the vote on the “anti-Colombian” law require the cancellation and the deputy of the people of the “Servant of the people”

The second Ukrainian people’s deputy who registered the draft resolution on canceling the results of the vote on the law prohibiting the return of nationalized banks to their former owners was the representative of the Servant of the People Alexander Dubinsky.

Another Ukrainian deputy registered a draft resolution on abolishing the results of the vote on the law, which prohibits the return of nationalized banks to their former owners. Document No. 2571-d-P1 was registered in the Verkhovna Rada on May 13.

The author of the draft resolution indicated to the deputy of the people of “Servants of the people” Alexander Dubinsky.

The text of the document is not available on the Parliament’s website.

Yesterday it was learned that the approval of the law in second reading and, as a whole, was contested by the deputy of the town faction, Anton Polyakov. The text of its draft resolution is also not on the Rada website.

Both documents were submitted to the Parliament’s leadership for consideration.

Therefore, the signing of the law adopted by the Rada is blocked.

Bill no. 2571-d “On the improvement of certain mechanisms to regulate banking activities” in the first reading was approved on March 30, in the second, on May 13. Among other things, the document will make it impossible for PrivatBank, nationalized in 2016, to return to businessman Igor Kolomoisky, who is trying to challenge nationalization in court.

The adoption of this bill, together with the opening of the land market, are the main requirements of the International Monetary Fund to continue cooperation with Ukraine.
