Naftogaz from Ukraine explained to NAK why they had reduced their position and two months later the company’s CEO Yuriy Vitrenko was dismissed. In this regard, on Wednesday May 13, reports DW.
As explained in Naftogaz, the company is undergoing transformation and optimization, when duplication of functions is eliminated, unit interactions are simplified, a structure is built that will increase operating efficiency.
“In particular, a number of functions have already been restructured for the Integrated Gas division, long-term planning, market research and long-term forecasting, corporate communications, general operational management and the like. The company also recalled the appointment of chief transformation officer Otto A. Waterlander, who is now responsible for transformation and operating processes, in particular to introduce a new operating model and divisional management structure, implement multi-functional processes, and develop foundations. of process data.
Previously, Naftogaz CEO Yury Vitrenko was warned of layoff as a result of the reduction. At the same time, Vitrenko said he was fired for political reasons. He also said that the head of the board, Andrei Kobolev, does not have sufficient competence to manage the company.
Note that the media wrote about Vitrenko’s possible layoff in early April.
Furthermore, Vitrenko through the court demanded to pay a premium. The bonus is part of the salary and must be paid by law, says Naftogaz’s senior manager.
