The World Health Organization believes that the coronavirus will never go away. RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to Reuters.
According to Mike Ryan, head of the WHO’s emergency health programs, this virus could become another endemic virus.
“It is important to openly declare: This virus can become another endemic virus (constantly present among people),” he said.
He also emphasized that at the same time, the world can control the spread of the virus with vaccines.
“It is important to stay realistic. I don’t think anyone can predict when this disease will go away,” added Ryan.
