Vladimir Zelensky continues personnel changes at the SBU
The head of state replaced the heads of SBU departments in the Kiev, Kiev, Zhitomir and Odessa regions.
President Volodymyr Zelensky made personnel changes to the Ukrainian Security Service. This was reported by the press service of the head of state on Wednesday, May 13.
So, according to Zelensky’s decrees, Oleg Golovash, head of the main department of SBU in the Zhytomyr region, was fired and Sergey Lisak was appointed in his place.
The president also fired the head of the SBU in Kiev and the Kiev region, Sergei Boldyr, and appointed Oleg Golovash instead.
And in the Odessa region, Vitaliy Kharchenko, the head of the SBU department, was fired from his post. In his place, Victor Dorovsky was named.
Zelensky previously fired two SBU vice presidents, Ivan Bakanov, and appointed two new ones. The President also appointed the head of the SBU in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
In addition, Vladimir Zelensky submitted to the Verkhovna Rada a bill on the reform of the SBU. The document proposes amendments to the legal regulation of the activities of the special services.
