The number of infected COVID-19 exceeded 16 thousand
During the last day, 402 people have been infected with coronavirus in Ukraine, and the total number of infected has reached 16,425 people. Such data are NSDC maps on the distribution of coronaviruses in Ukraine.
Note that compared to yesterday, the number of new cases increased by almost 30 people: yesterday, the Ministry of Health reported 375 infected per day.
Recall, the head of state health services of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, said that the commission of the Ministry of Health will investigate the causes of the high number of patients with coronavirus in the Chernivtsi region.
Previously it was reported that hospital number 2 closed in the Zhitomir region due to the coronavirus outbreak among doctors.
In addition, in the Dnipropetrovsk region on Tuesday, May 12, 25 new cases of infection with the coronavirus COVID-19 were recorded.
Even in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, a new coronavirus outbreak was recorded: 20 people were hospitalized from the village of Knyazholuki at the district hospital, 8 of them confirmed the infection.
Recall that the first stage of quarantine mitigation began in Ukraine. According to the chief medical doctor, Viktor Lyashko, outbreaks of the virus still occur in some regions due to the fact that Ukrainians lose their vigilance and neglect quarantine restrictions.
