At the next TKG videoconference, Ukraine will be represented by the Deputy Minister of Defense
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andrei Yermak had a telephone conversation with political advisers to the leaders of the states participating in the Norman format. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the press service of the Office of the President.
During the conversation, the parties reportedly discussed preparing for the future video conference of the Trilateral Contact Group, where Ukraine will have significantly greater representation, including Deputy Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Alexei Reznikov, deputy ministers and deputies. of the people – relevant chiefs Committees of the Verkhovna Rada.
“I think expanding and raising the level of representation at the TKG will help improve the ceasefire. That is why Ukraine will be represented by the Deputy Defense Minister at the next TKG video conference,” Yermak emphasized.
The parties also paid particular attention to security concerns, the achievement of a stable and comprehensive ceasefire, and OSCE SMM access to Donbass territories not controlled by Ukraine.
We will remember that the former President Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree that strengthens the representation of Ukraine in the TCG by representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers and people’s deputies to accelerate the Minsk process.
After that, the head of the Presidential Office Andrei Yermak said Ukraine expects Russia to increase the level of its representation at the TKG in Minsk in response to such a move by officer Kiev.
