The Ukrainian Army Andrei Grachev, who, as part of the 93rd separate mechanized brigade “Cold Yar” participated in Operation Combined Forces in Donbass, challenged boxer Alexander Usik. Please note that Grachev is a former winner of the Ukrainian Sambo and Judo Championship.

The Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine spoke about easing quarantine conditions for athletes:

“A simple guy from Vinnitsa, a repeated winner from Ukraine in wrestling, judo and sambo. I’m 37 years old. I don’t train as hard as before, but I promise you a great battle. There are wounded and many friends dead. By the boxing rules you wanted? We will fight according to the laws of war and the street! So, as always! There are no rules in the war … They did not consider us by any rule, they did not put the doctors as a percentage. You will discover who attacked whom and with whom we are at war ”, the Dialogue quotes Andrei Grachev.
