In Krivoy Rog, the chief physician at the city’s fourth hospital was suspended from work.
In Kryvyi Rih, the chief physician was dismissed for the unauthorized discharge of 15 patients with the coronavirus COVID-19. RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to Radio Liberty.
According to the director of the City Council’s Health Protection Department, Konstantin Murashko, 21 patients and six members of the institution’s medical staff were isolated in the hospital building, like those who had contact with a sick woman.
“They were all tested. Fifteen of them were discharged for outpatient treatment, even though at that time the results of PCR tests with confirmed COVID-19 had already passed,” says Murashko.
He points out that the actions of the chief doctor will be investigated by a specially created commission.
“All those discharged have already been offered inpatient treatment in an infectious disease hospital, one patient is currently being transferred there,” he added.
Recall that the deputy mayor of Kremenchug fell ill with a coronavirus. Coronavirus was reportedly detected in Kravchenko on May 9. From that moment, he was in the self-isolation of the house. At this time, a circle of contact persons is being determined, who will also be sent for self-isolation.
