Foreign doctors say that a person cannot have an asymptomatic coronavirus infection, but simply does not pay attention to existing symptoms, said Viktor Lyashko, Ukraine’s health director.

In Ukraine, many cases of the asymptomatic course of coronavirus disease COVID-19 are recorded. About this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, said the Deputy Minister of Health – Chief Medical Officer of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko.

“These are global statistics and the whole world claims that in many cases the disease is asymptomatic. But recently in the United States one of the teachers spoke and said that, in principle, this is not the case, because there are certain symptoms to which the People don’t pay attention. For example, tickle in the throat or itchy nose. Everyone thinks it has come and gone. And this could be a case of coronavirus disease, “said Lyashko.

He added that in the process of testing contact persons by PCR, Ukrainian doctors find cases in which a person has no symptoms of the disease, but the coronavirus test is positive.
