Airlines cheat passengers by offering to buy tickets for flights from Ukraine in May and June. On Tuesday May 12, the press secretary of the Ministry of Infrastructure, Oksana Gerasimova, said in a comment to the publication Public.
According to her, the decision of the Council of Ministers to resume air communication has not yet been made.
“Regarding the airline’s actions to sell tickets on May 23, such actions are premature and misleading passengers before the government makes decisions,” emphasized the representative of the Infrastructure Ministry.
Passengers should be guided by official statements and government decisions, he noted.
“The opening of communication with other countries depends on the decisions of the respective governments to open the borders to foreign citizens and the epidemiological situation,” said Gerasimova.
As reported, Hungarian airline Wizz Air has opened reservations for flights from Kiev, Zaporozhye, Lviv, Odessa and Kharkov since May 23. Most flights will be operated from June.
German airline Lufthansa partially restores transport from Ukraine from June 1. While you can book flights from Kiev to Berlin.
