UEFA said the decision to disqualify Dynamo striker and Ukrainian national team Artem Besedin has entered into force.
He was adopted on February 24. Since then, UEFA has been awaiting appeal of the decision, but neither the Ukrainian club nor Besedin have done so.
Therefore, UEFA was reminded that Dynamo Kiev player Artem Besedin was disqualified for the year of December 19, 2019, when UEFA’s control, ethics and disciplinary committees decided to suspend him.
Consequently, the period of ineligibility will end. December 19, 2020.
Remember that the reason for the disqualification is a violation of anti-doping regulations. On November 28, 2019, after the Europa League 2019/20 Malmo – Dynamo Kiev group stage match, the doping test Besedin revealed the presence of the substance Fonturacetam, a prohibited stimulant in competitions, according to the 2019 WADA List of Prohibited Substances.
