Today’s lowest death toll since March 26
The UK has announced a further 210 coronavirus victims, making the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 in the country it reached 32,065. This is the Daily Mail.
An additional 3,877 people are reported to have tested positive for the coronavirus on Sunday. Therefore, the coronavirus was officially diagnosed in 223,060 people in the country since the outbreak.
It is emphasized that the current increase in the number of deaths is the smallest since March 26, just three days after the quarantine began, when there were 183 deaths.
It was also reported that only 65,337 people protested yesterday against the coronavirus in Britain, which “is far from reaching the goal of 100,000 people.”
Recall that Great Britain outnumbered Italy in the number of infected coronaviruses. Now the country ranks second in Europe and third in the world in the number of infected COVID-19.
As RBC-Ukraine wrote, the head of the British government, Boris Johnson, announced the beginning weakening of quarantine in the UK since 13 May. Schools plan to open from June 1.
