Information from Johns Hopkins University indicates that more cases were detected in only two countries: the United States (1.3 million) and Spain (224.3 thousand).
It should be noted that Russia omitted the United Kingdom in this indicator, where 220.4 thousand cases of COVID-19 infection were registered, and Italy (219 thousand).
In addition, data from the Worldometers website, which accumulates information on COVID-19 infections worldwide, states that the Russian Federation has risen to third place in the world in terms of number of cases.
Recall, the governor of the Krasnodar Territory, Veniamin Kondratyev, said that after contact with a sick COVID-19 priest 35 residents of the region were infected with coronavirus.
