In Donbass, temporary restrictions continue to apply to cross the demarcation line.

Militants in the Donbass denied the Ukrainians crossing the demarcation line even in the presence of special circumstances. This was reported by the press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine on Facebook.

Therefore, in Donbass, temporary restrictions to cross the demarcation line continue to apply. In particular, the CPVV can be completed only if there is a separate decision from the commander of the United Forces.

Militants do not allow Ukrainians to go through their CPVM even in special circumstances

“Sometimes people who go to occupied territory under the pressure of critical life circumstances are unable to cross the demarcation line, even if there is a positive decision from the Joint Forces commander. More than 20 people whom border guards Ukrainians were lost with separate decisions, pro-Russian militants wrapped in a gray area, – inform the department.

Border guards say they helped return these citizens to controlled territory. Employees of the State Border Guard Service are asking Ukrainians planning to cross the demarcation line to take into account the quarantine and the actions of representatives of the occupied territories.

The department also draws attention to the fact that temporary restrictions at the crossing of the demarcation line continue to apply in the Donbass. Due to the extension of the quarantine until May 22, restrictions on crossing the demarcation line will continue until further notice.

Therefore, restrictions are imposed by order of the commander of the United Forces, and it is possible to cross the demarcation line only by his separate decision for good humanitarian reasons or critical life circumstances.

It is stated that since March 22, the OOS commander has granted 283 of those individual permits, the main part, 236 positive decisions, have been provided to cross the demarcation line at the Stanitsa Luganskaya checkpoint.

Recall, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that today is too early to speak about the opening of checkpoints in the Donbass, as the deadlines are linked to the quarantine in Ukraine.

As RBC-Ukraine wrote, despite the quarantine, the Trilateral Contact Group discusses the need to step up preparations for the opening of CPVV in the area of the Zolotoe settlements and happiness Lugansk region.
