Shakhtar defender Bogdan Butko, who is renting for Pole Lech, spoke about his relationship with his parents living in the occupied territory.
– Than? I will not speak to my parents because they live in Donetsk. This is stupid. Suppose one of them lives in Donetsk or they have their own point of view about Ukraine or Russia. But it doesn’t affect me.
I am Ukrainian, I live in Ukraine. How can she affect me? What thoughts will be in my head, such will be. No one will change them for me; I reason myself and see the situation correctly.
If I wanted to become Russian and play in Russia, I would stay there and do everything for this. But I don’t see and I won’t see the point in this.
– Are you angry with Russia for what happened in the Donbass?
– I did not understand why it happened and I still do not understand. This is not for us to judge and understand.
But of course, evil. I always wanted to live in the normal city I grew up in. It belonged to Ukraine. I wanted to grow there, develop myself, do everything for this, I had plans for the future, I bought an apartment. But it turned out that this is not Ukraine. People will be evil in everything, they won’t even understand the situation.
Recall that in 2015-2016 Butko, on loan, spoke for the Russian Amkar.
