Kindergartens operate at 70% of their capacity

On Sunday, May 10, Israel partially opened kindergartens as part of an economic recovery effort. RBC-Ukraine reports this with reference to Reuters.

As noted, the number of new coronavirus cases is declining, so quarantine is gradually weakening in the country.

Classes in the country resumed last week for the first three and last two classes at the school, allowing parents to return to work. Furthermore, the kindergartens are only 70% full and students must follow the rules of social distance and hygiene.

Israeli authorities say that in choosing which children should return to kindergartens first, employees prioritize those living in single-parent families or with single or working mothers.

Note that Sunday is the beginning of the working week in Israel.

According to the latest data, there have been 16,458 new cases of coronavirus and 248 deaths in Israel. After the introduction of quarantine across the country, unemployment reached 27%. Around 9 million people live in Israel.

Recall previously reported that Israel has developed a passive vaccine against COVID-19, which blocks and neutralizes the coronavirus in the body.

Israel is also reported to provide $ 60 million for the development of a coronavirus vaccine.
