Ukraine’s chief medical doctor Viktor Lyashko approved anti-epidemic recommendations for various institutions in the weakening stage of quarantine, particularly for hairdressers, shops and cafes.
On his Facebook page, he reported that currently “it is very important to find a balance between preserving people’s life and health and the gradual launch of the economy. “

Recommendations include temperature detection for employees, maintenance (for cafes and restaurants, take-away only) in compliance with a safe distance, the installation of medical devices for hand disinfection and more.
The Cabinet of Ministers extended the quarantine in Ukraine until May 22, but with some concessions that will take effect on May 11: the opening of parks, squares, recreation areas; hairdressing, manicure, pedicure, beauty salons; summer playgrounds, cafes and restaurants to go; permit for wholesale and retail trade of non-food products in the shopping center; permission to work in public services; the opening of museums and libraries; work permit for dentists, auditors, attorneys, appliance services.
In addition, professional sports teams may conduct training.
On the morning of May 10, in Ukraine, 15,232 cases of COVID-19 infection were registered, of which 391 were fatal. 3060 patients have already recovered. During the last day, 522 new cases of coronavirus infection were detected.
