Delivery scheduled for International Mother’s Day
The Mother Heroin Award is celebrated annually by mothers who have given birth and raised five or more children up to the age of eight.
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky awarded 678 Ukrainians the honorary title of Mother Heroine. This was reported by the press service of the head of state on Sunday, May 10.
It is indicated that women who raised five or more children up to the age of eight for maternal dedication, exemplary education for children and conditions for their full development are rewarded.
Among the winners were 31 residents of the Vinnytsia region, 108 – Volyn, 12 – Dnipropetrovsk, 17 – Donetsk, 26 – Zhytomyr, 49 – Transcarpathic, 14 – Zaporizhzhya, 39 – Ivano-Frankivsk, 16 – Kiev and 20 – the Kiev city.
In addition, the title of Mother Heroine was received by 9 residents of the Kirovograd region, 2 – Lugansk, 58 – Lviv, 16 – Nikolaev, 34 – Odessa, 8 – Poltava, 74 – Rivne, 7 – Sumy, 15 – Ternopol, 15 – Kharkiv, 3 – Kherson 20 – Khmelnitsky, 18 – Cherkasy, 53 – Chernivtsi and 14 – Chernihiv.
Recall that in 2019, 616 Ukrainians received the honorary title Mother Heroine.
