The incidence of coronavirus has increased considerably in the Chernivtsi region.

89 new patients registered in Bukovina per day

In the Chernivtsi region, on Saturday May 9, it registered new growth coronavirus incidence. This was announced by the President of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration, Sergey Osachuk.

In particular, on the last day, a diagnosis of COVID-19 infection was diagnosed in 89 other residents of Bukovina. Among them, 29 cases were registered in Chernivtsi.

“Thus, 2,268 cases of coronavirus have already been reported in Bukovina. Fortunately, another 18 Bukovinians have passed the infection,” Osachuk said.

During the day, 423 material samples were analyzed in the regional laboratory.

Recall that during the last day in hospitals in the Chernivtsi region 3 deaths from coronavirus were recorded. In total, 75 people died as a result of COVID-19 infection.

We add that in the Kharkiv region, three settlements were quarantined due to an increased incidence of COVID-19.

As of May 9, the number of coronavirus patients in Ukraine reached 14,710,376 patients died from complications of the infection.
