Due to the quarantine, the traditional celebration of Victory Day was canceled, but many came to put flowers on the Eternal Flame in Kiev.
From the Arsenalnaya subway station to the Eternal Glory Park, the police placed various cords and limited traffic on Ivan Mazepa street, along the street mounted police.
One of the cords is at the park entrance, where the police left people in small groups and reminded them to keep their distance.
Among those who came to lay flowers were MPs Vadim Novinsky and Petr Simonenko, as well as UOC metro MP MP Onufry and Kiev priests Pechersk Lavra.

Remember On May 9, the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky paid tribute to those who died in World War II with a minute of silence and laid flowers on the Eternal Flame in the park of Eternal Glory in the capital.
And in Odessa, the police and activists stopped the OPZZ rally before May 9.
