United States intelligence verifies information about North Korean leader Kim Jong-in’s serious illness after surgery.

CNN reports.

As noted, on April 15, the North Korean leader missed his grandfather’s birthday celebration, causing speculation about his condition. Kim Jong-in was last seen in public four days earlier at a government meeting.

“When North Korean leaders did not participate in these important celebrations in the past, this was a serious event,” the statement said.

The South Korean government has denied information that the DPRK leader fell ill after the operation. According to high-ranking officials, Kim Jong-in is engaged in public affairs.

Previously, DPRK leader Kim Jong-in was reported to have attended the opening ceremony of the new city of Samzhong, which was built by the Korean military force.

Remember that on August 16, North Korea again launched 2 short-range ballistic missiles, the launches of which were personally observed by DPRK leader Kim Jong-in.
