Klimenko noted that, in total, the festive services were held at 13,658 temples in all regions of the state.
Public security and order were provided by 26.5 thousand police and National Guard troops.
The efforts of law enforcement agencies were primarily aimed at preventive work on strict compliance with all quarantine restrictions.
According to Klimenko, almost 130,000 citizens participated in the services.
“And today we can say that citizens have shown legal awareness and listened to our calls to comply with quarantine restrictions. However, during the last 24 hours, there were more than 10 faithful in the temples, even without personal protection in 19 places of worship in the 13 provinces. The police prepared three administrative reports and initiated a criminal process. The rest of the materials are carefully considered for a legitimate decision. The police continue to work in the improved mode », – reported Klimenko.
According to UNIAN, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, stressed before the holidays that if a large number of people entered Easter, then the number of patients with coronavirus COVID-19 infection could reach between 2% and 10% of the population of Ukraine.
