In Poltava, the famous singer, soloist of the cult group “Freestyle” Nina Kirso died. He was 56 years old and in the last two years was in very serious condition due to illness.
Nina Kirso became popular in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when the group “Freestyle” became one of the most popular groups in Soviet pop. Kirso was born on August 4, 1963 in Poltava and since he was little he was surrounded by music. His father played the accordion professionally, and his mother was a singer.
Nina Kirso graduated from music school, but then unexpectedly entered the Institute of Civil Engineering. Her life was connected to creativity and she never used the high school diploma.
At the end of the 80s, he joined the team of Anatoly Rozanov “Olympia”, and in 1988 the group changed its name and received the name “Freestyle”. The first vocalist was Vadim Kazachenko. Later, he was replaced by Sergey Dubrovin, and the female repertoire was performed by Nina Kirso.

In 1990, the team became popular thanks to the hits “Ship of Love”, “Viburnum Blossoms”, “White Birch”. Nina Kirso married the team leader Anatoly Rozanov, and in 1998 bore him a son.
In 2018, Nina Kirso was found unconscious in her own home. She was hospitalized and diagnosed with a stroke. The singer underwent surgery and went into a coma. As the help of the doctors was delayed, his condition was critical. After the operation, Kirso was treated for a time in Kiev, and then her husband transferred her to Poltava.

In 2019, the artist came out of a coma and began to open her eyes, but according to her relatives, her condition could hardly be described as good. Doctors tried to restore his health throughout the year, but there were no changes.
