Roewe RX5 Plus repeats the popular German cross not only externally but also technically.
Roewe, part of the Chinese concern SAIC, has announced a new RX5 Plus car. At the moment, the official dealers of the brand already have a variation of the car called RX5. Externally, the car is very reminiscent of the German Volkswagen Tiguan crossover – this trend is no accident, as chief designer SAIC worked for several years at Volkswagen.
The car received a stylish radiator grille, updated headlamps, and fine yellow stripes on the body giving the car a sporty look. The machine comes with original 18-inch wheels. We have plenty of out-of-car equipment – consider the latest multimedia system with a 10.4-inch diagonal and built-in navigation, ABS, EBD, rear view cameras, tire pressure sensors.
From the comfort systems, we see the possibility of electrically adjustable seats, dual-zone climate control and a spectacular panoramic roof in the maximum configuration.
The range of new engines will consist of two power units: a 1.5-liter engine with a performance of 169 hp. and a 2.0-liter, 220-hp engine. In conjunction with the power plant, 6MKPP or 6-band “robot” with double clutch will work, depending on the configuration selected. Prices will be announced immediately before the start of sales.
