At the age of 57, singer Nina Kirso, soloist of the popular 90s band “Freestyle”, died. Information about the artist’s death on a personal Facebook page was confirmed by his sister Alla and colleague Lydia Tropman.
“An hour ago, my dear little sister was gone …” wrote Alla Kirso, attaching a photograph of Nina’s sister to her post.
Since the summer of 2018, Nina Kirso has been in a coma. On June 1, upon returning from the concert, the artist became ill and lost consciousness. Doctors later diagnosed a stroke, while the singer was unaware.
The Freestyle group met in 1988 in Poltava. Anatoly Rozanov became the team’s leader, songwriter, and producer. In the early years, Vadim Kazachenko was the leader, but in 1992 Freestyle was led by Nina Kirso.
Over the years, the group has become famous for their hits “Oh, what a woman”, “It hurts, it hurts”, “White Blizzard” and others.
