A record amount in foreign currency has accumulated in the accounts of the State Treasury

As of January 1, 2021, 70.7 billion UAH has been accumulated in the accounts of the State Treasury Service of Ukraine. This is a record amount of funds in the last ten years.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.

According to the press service, there are 12 billion hryvnias in the Single Treasury Account (CST) and 58.7 billion hryvnias in foreign currency accounts.

Recall that the income of the state budget of Ukraine in January-December 2020 amounted to 1,075.7 billion hryvnia. This is 1.5% more than the plan (1,059.9 billion hryvnia), adjusted for the year.

As RBC-Ukraine reported, the revenue of the state budget of Ukraine for 2021 is forecasted in the amount of 1,084 billion hryvnias, which is 6.1% more than the revenue of 2020 (1,022 billion hryvnias). Expenditure amounts to UAH 1,320 billion, 0.6% more than in 2020 (UAH 1,312 billion).

The law on the state budget of Ukraine for 2021 sets an average annual exchange rate of 29.1 hryvnia per dollar. The forecast rate at the end of 2021 is 28.8 hryvnia per dollar.
