In Ukraine, 67 newly elected deputies received zero votes in local elections in constituencies. The Platform of Opposition – For Life party has the highest number of “zero” elected officials: 31.
The “Chesno” movement explains this by the fact that such deputies were on the lists of passing parties. It should be noted that every second “zero” deputy is a representative of the HLE. Most of the “zeros” were chosen in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions.
Most of the “zeros” went to the Severodonetsk regional council – 20 out of 54 district council members. The OLP obtained 44% of the votes in the elections and, due to the rating, brought 24 deputies to the council, 13 of whom received zero votes in the district. The political force “Nuestra Tierra” won the local elections with a result of 39% and received 21 mandates, of which five deputies are “zero”.
In the city hall of Novogrodiv (Donetsk region) 15 “zeros” have passed, in total there are 26 deputies in the city hall. 9 of the 38 deputies obtained zero votes in the elections to the Schastye District Council (Luhansk Oblast).
Let us add that among the “zero” deputies there are 39 men and 28 women between 1955 and 2000 years of birth. Among the 67 deputies, 11 reported that they were unemployed at the time of the elections.
Let us emphasize that there are no “zero” deputies only in the regional and district councils of the city.
