In Ukraine, during the last day, 5,062 new cases of COVID-19 were detected. Most of the infections are found in the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kiev regions.

Updated: Health Minister Maxim Stepanov said in a briefing that 38,491 tests were performed for the coronavirus in the last day. In particular, 30,334 PCR tests and 8,157 ELISA tests were performed.
The most difficult epidemiological situation is in the Kharkiv region (+651), Kiev (+445), Lviv region (+322), Ternopil region (+222), Kiev region (+227), Sumy region (+271), Donetsk region (+244).
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 281,239 cases of coronavirus have been identified in Ukraine. In particular, the situation with the virus worsens every month. The WHO predicts that the daily increase could exceed 9,000 new cases by the end of the year.
During the last day, 951 people recovered from COVID-19 (119,650 in total) and 73 people died (5,302 in total)
We will recall, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made the decision to extend the quarantine in Ukraine until the end of December. In addition, the government recommends introducing school holidays from today.
Meanwhile, Ukraine is preparing for a new wave of COVID-19. The president has already given a series of instructions, in particular on the transfer of universities to distance education.
