In New York, at least 58 people were arrested for protesting the day after the presidential election.

It is noted that on the night of November 4, several hundred protesters took to the streets of Manhattan, where they demanded an honest recount of votes in the presidential elections.

Police who arrived at the scene blocked the protesters using Chaldean tactics and then detained them.

Police clarified that the arrests occurred when protesters began lighting fires and dumping garbage and eggs in Manhattan. According to law enforcement officers, there were 20 detainees in total.

According to NYT sources, at least three people were arrested for setting garbage cans on fire, some were arrested for blocking the entrance to the subway.

Some of the detainees were found carrying weapons, including knives and M-80 firecrackers.

People demonstrated after incumbent US President Donald Trump demanded that the counting be stopped in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Meanwhile, the vote count continues in the United States. As of the morning of November 5, Joe Biden continues to lead.
