In Ukraine, a decrease in coronavirus cases was detected, during the last day 12,079 new cases were registered. Most of the new infections are in Kiev.
Health Minister Maxim Stepanov announced it on his Facebook page.
Yesterday we did 34 397 tests, in particular, by PCR – 27 998, by ELISA – 6 399.
The highest number of confirmed cases per day was recorded in the Kiev (1,199), Dnepropetrovsk (1,017), Kiev (962), Sumy (779) and Zaporozhye (765) regions.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 624 744 people have fallen ill, 286 917 people have recovered. Deaths: 10 951. During the last day, 138 more people died.
As a reminder, in Ukraine only in two regions are beds more than 70% full. However, the incidence rate of the coronavirus continues to rise. The worst situation is in the Sumy region.
In addition, the representative of the Office of the President Kirill Tymoshenko did not rule out the introduction of a complete blockade in Ukraine. The restrictions may increase if Ukrainians do not comply with the weekend quarantine.
