Eight Champions League matches were released on Wednesday with Matchday 1 ending. UEFA started the Champions League group stage on Tuesday, scoring 22 goals in eight matches.

There were some surprising scorelines on Wednesday, but the most shocking was Real Madrid’s 3-2 win over Shakhtar. Meanwhile, Bayern Munich started the UCL season with three points from both the Liverpool and Manchester City side of the Premier League with a win from where-0.
