The Covid-19 case is re-emerging in the United States, the highest daily rate of new infections since August, while large states like Florida have become hotspots, Johns Hopkins University’s Covid-19 tracker shows.
Now, many Midwestern states are seeing a sharp rise in Kovid-1 cases, with at least one field hospital being set up to deal with the flood of patients. Cases have also been reported in the Northeast, where tight bans were under virus control for most of the summer.

The state set up a field hospital near the state grounds to treat what could be an overflow of Covid-19 patients. More than 8,000 people in the state are hospitalized. More than 213,000 people have died from Covid-19 in the U.S.
“We are on the brink of an emergency in Green Bay and the surrounding counties,” Dr. Paul Casey, head of the emergency department at Bellin Health Systems in Green Bay, Wisconsin, told CNBC.
While Florida, Texas and California were national hotspots, one of the tallest mountains since this summer, more than 57,000 people tested positive for the Covid-19 on Friday. Cases began to decline in August, and Florida has since fully opened, allowing bars and restaurants to operate at full capacity.
Cases are now returning to Florida, but the most worrying trends in recent weeks have come from the Midwest, where cities in South Dakota, North Dakota, Montana and Wisconsin have seen sharp increases.

Trump held a 3,000-person rally in Duluth in late September, ahead of his Covid-19 diagnosis. According to the Dullth News Tribune, nine cases of Covid-19 have since been linked to the rally, with two people hospitalized and one in the intensive care unit.
At the same time, Dr. Anthony Fauci, America’s top infectious disease specialist, continued to warn against large gatherings. He said it was “not surprising” to see Trump’s Rose Garden event labeled a “super-spreader” event, as people gathered in large numbers without face masks.
Despite being potentially contagious, Trump held an individual event at the White House on Saturday. Trump has largely refused to isolate himself, returning to the Oval Office fees immediately after being admitted to hospital.
In addition to being admitted to the president’s hospital for Covid-19, the details of when he contracted the virus remain unclear, making it difficult to know how long he should be isolated and the ongoing risks he may pose to others.
The increase in cases has also affected New York, which has kept the virus under control through restrictions on gathering and eating at home for most of the summer. But cases have been reported in Queens and Brooklyn’s New York City boroughs and in Orange and Rockland counties north of the city.
The new lockdown has provoked a backlash from the Jewish community, many of whom are subject to sanctions, and who have taken to the streets and courts to protest. An attempt by a state judge to fight a state ban on religious gatherings of more than 10 people in court failed after a state judge ruled that New York was interested in protecting public health.
