U.S. Coronavirus: U.S. More than 20 states reported an increase in 19 new Covid-19 cases after topping 200,000 deaths


“We’re entering the fall and winter, and that means there will be more indoor items than outdoor items.” Dr. Anthony Fawcett said Tuesday. At least 22 states now report an increase in new cases, most of them in the country’s heartland and midwest. That number is a significant difference from last Monday, while only nine states have seen a surge in cases. By early Wednesday morning, seven states had dropped new cases, according to data from Johns Hopkins University.

Even with all these deaths and 9.9 million confirmed cases, more than 90% of Americans become infected, said Dr. John H. Snyder, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Said Robert Redfield.

The CDC is in the process of conducting a very large, gradual study across the United States, measuring serology, Redfield told the Senate Health Committee Wednesday. “Preliminary results from the first phase show that most people in our country – more than 90% of the population – are vulnerable.”

At the Senate hearing, Redfield also explained why the document was placed on the CDC’s website, explaining how the Covid-19 spread was later removed.

Redfield said the website is going to be a technically reviewed document on the issue. “But the one that was posted on Friday was not technically reviewed, and as a result CDC’s career scientists took it down, put up a technically reviewed document, until a new technical review document can be posted.”

“We need to be careful about what long-term effects Kovid-19 can have on people,” Fauqi told the committee.

“I think we need to be careful and see what happens because the possibilities that can develop are that it can be clear, and they have no problem for the rest of their lives.”

“Other things are that when you have inflammation they can fade, you can get scarring, which can later lead to arrhythmia or cardiomyopathy,” he explained.

Kentucky and Wisconsin note the spikes of the case

Many U.S. The virus, which is still rampant in communities, is raising new alarms in states like Kentucky and Wisconsin, one of the highest Covid-19 positivity rates in the country, at more than 16%.

The governor of Wisconsin announced a new public health crisis this week, with many cases among young people escalating and issuing a new order to face. The state is experiencing “unprecedented, near-disturbing growth” of the epidemic, the government said in a statement from Tony Evers’ office.

Kentucky reported a spike in its Covid-19 positivity rate after a surge in cases in some counties.

“The virus is deadly, it’s real and it’s harmful, it kills us,” Governor Andy Bachere said during a news conference Tuesday. “And on the day we lost 200,000 … it looks like cases are rising again.”
Covid-19 is now the third leading cause of death in the U.S., according to the CVC’s latest available data.
Despite months away from the available vaccine, experts and public health officials maintain that the best way to catch the virus is to wear a universal mask and social distance.

There has also been an increase in cases after reports of outbreaks on campus in some college leagues and many opting to move classes online. In the U.S., more than 59,000 Kovid-1 cases have been reported among college students and staff.
In North Carolina, university officials announced that UNC Charlotte would resume personal instruction from Oct. 1 after consultation with local health officials.

The university says it has made “de-densified” bedrooms and given each student an individual room, gathered a limited indoor population of 10 people and taken several other steps to control the infection.

In Vermont, Middlebury College announced the banning of 22 students from the school’s campus after a week of “significant Covid-19 behavior violations”.

The students’ punishment includes revoking their campus accommodation privileges, and they will not be allowed to study, take courses or visit other students on campus, Student Dean Derek Dusset wrote in a statement.

In the hope of preventing further transmission of the virus by welcoming students back face to face, many school districts across the country started the new academic year with virtual instruction.

On Tuesday, the Miami-Dade County School Board voted unanimously to reopen school buildings before Oct. 14. East K, a phased opening for kindergarten and first grade students and special needs students will begin. The district session will be completed by October 21, two weeks later than originally suggested by the superintendent.

Miami-Dade is the largest school district in the state and one of the largest in the country, with approximately 345,000 students and more than 40,000 employees.
The school board’s decision comes after several Florida public schools reopened their doors last month. Since then, in mid-September, the number of children under the age of 18 who have contracted Covid-19 in Florida has increased by 26%, state figures show.
