Taylor was from a late start before last week’s final game against the Chiefs … after 31 years Suffering from a punctured lung When a painkiller injection for a cracked rib is received.
This isn’t an everyday injury, so we hit the Doc to explain it all … and it gives a great explanation of exactly what happened.
But, the real question on everyone’s mind – will TT be okay ?? Oz is optimistic.
“Every doctor who has ever had someone’s ribs numb knows that this is a potential complication,” says Oz.
“I don’t think Taylor will get many more injections there, and I doubt it, and I hope the hole is too small because the needle we need and the nerve used to numb it is too small.”
“So hopefully he’ll forget about it on his own and through the game, instead of 3 or 4
Speaking of the doctor responsible for the tragedy, Oz thinks it will be a learning experience to move on, saying, “I mean, doctors make mistakes. The key for us is that we own it and will improve from it.”
