Two and a half Men Actor Conchata Ferrell was reportedly taken to a care facility after a heart attack.
Best known for playing housekeeper Berta in the long comedy, Ferrell’s husband Arnie Anderson has said the actor has been in intensive care for the past four weeks after suffering cardiac arrest.
He said TMZ: “It will be a while before there is any recovery. Everything is neurological. There is nothing we can do to speed up the process. We hope for the best. “
Anderson said Conchata suffered cardiac arrest during her time in intensive care, but after being saved, her condition worsened after contracting an infection while in the hospital.
Due to current hospital regulations regarding the possible spread of the coronavirus, Conchata’s husband is reportedly unable to be by his side during this difficult time.
Anderson has said that the infection was not the coronavirus.
Ferrell has now been transferred to a long-term care facility and respiratory unit where he is “stable and semi-conscious.”
In December, Ferrell was also hospitalized for several weeks after contracting a kidney infection. TMZ He has reported that his current illness is related to the infection, from which he seemed to recover in February.
