Twitter users give Melania Trump’s RNC dress the treatment with green screen

First Lady Melania Trump made a statement at the Republican National Convention in a neon dress that sparked a fashion field day on social media, with users comparing the dress to a green screen and re-imagining it as such.

All eyes were on the first lady when she arrived with President Trump on the White House’s South Lawn as her husband accepted the GOP’s nomination in the Thursday night finale of the convention.

The New York Post reports that the posted Valentino number sells for about $ 2,700 – and although Trump all smiles in the bright green gown, Twitter users warned that a melee of moms was inevitable.

“Oh no, Melania. People can have Photoshop over there,” one user sighed.

Fashion police have quickly redesigned the first lady in virtual dresses commenting on everything from the weather to the coronavirus health crisis, with one joker staring that the first lady was probably visible in the neon issue of International Space Station.

“If Melania knew how many people would benefit from that green screen-colored dress, she would have worn something different,” one explained, sharing a photo of Queen Elizabeth in green hat and coat that was similarly edited in a pizza print,
