Twitter has forced the Democratic candidate to delete a tweet from Gust, saying it violates the rules of a social media platform against voter repression, urging followers of President Trump to go to the polls on the second day of the November general election.

“Thank you! And remind all your Trump supportive relatives to vote on Wednesday, November 4th! (Because they are Trump supporters, they can fall for it. Just say ….)” Hernandez responded to the campaign with a funny emoji. .
“Posting or sharing content that would suppress participation or mislead people about when, where, or how to participate in the civic process is prohibited,” Twitter said.
The tweet was two weeks before it was flagged and Twitter said it would stop Hernandez’s campaign from accessing his account until the tweet was removed.
The Texas Democrat campaign said a staffer responded jokingly, but agreed to take down the tweet.
“In a hilarious exchange with supporters on Twitter, one of our campaign staff was a little loose with their words. The emoji at the end of the tweet suggests that the tweet was intended, not to mislead anyone.” Christopher Phipps told Politico in an email. “But when Twitter brought this tweet to our attention, we were very careful to take it down.”

The move by Twitter is against a statement pushed by Trump and other Republicans who support the policy of Twitter Democrats and the Left.
