Pokemon He’s never afraid to plug Easter eggs where he can, and anime has done it over and over again. From the main series to its various spin-offs, Pokemon does his best to reference everything from games to Poke Dex in its episodes. That is exactly what happened in the most recent episode of Pokémon: Twilight WingsBut this nod was much more morbid than fans are used to seeing.
It all happened when the last episode of Pokémon: Twilight Wings went to live The miniseries has been a success from day one, and has continued to explore the Galar region through the eyes of other characters. This new episode decided to check the region out from Allister’s point of view, but the Ghost-Type Gym Leader made things a little creepy.
In one of the scenes, Allister visits a local hospital and fans are shown outside the building. The panoramic image shows a taxi driver leaning against his vehicle while Corviknight stands beside him. Some Ghost-type Pokémon can be seen floating outside the building, which is quite disturbing. But the most worrying Pokémon is none other than Lampent.

If you look in the upper left corner, you will see a Lampent hanging near a lamppost. The Pokémon looks pretty cold outside the hospital, but you’ll start to sweat once you notice it when the Pokémon is there. According to her Poke Dex entry, Lampennt haunts these areas so she can feast on the souls of the dead.
“The spirits it absorbs feed its evil fire,” says the propaganda. “It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass.”
Clearly, this type of Easter egg is appropriate for an episode focused on Allister. The Ghost-type trainer would not blink twice at such a Pokémon. Of course, netizens are not the same, and it seems that this clumsy Lampent has caught them all off guard.
