1. Promo drops from Naagin 5; Hina Khan, Mohit Malhotra and Dheeraj Dhoopar’s avatar disconnected
The first promo of Naagin 5 featuring Hina Khan, Mohit Malhotra, and Dheeraj Dhoopar dropped recently, leaving fans awestruck. While Hina’s appearance was previously revealed, the avatars of Mohit and Dheeraj were unveiled with the teaser. Hina and Mohit are shown to be shape-shifting snakes, with their love story based in a centuries-old era. Dheeraj will be seen playing an antagonist. Naagin 5 starts airing today.

The much anticipated promo of Bigg Boss 14 finally fell yesterday (August 8, 2020). This time, however, it came with a new name Bigg Boss 2020. The teaser had host Salman Khan placed and riding on a tractor in the fields. He’s heard saying, ‘Lockdown brought a lot into everyone’s lives, that’s why I’re growing rice, but now is the time for the season to change, because Bigg Boss 2020 is here, and now the game will change. ‘ The promo has been well received by viewers, and BB 2020 is likely to air from September 2020 onwards.

Parth Samthaan alias Anurag Basu is making a big comeback on the sets of Kasautii Zindagii Kay, when he shoots again after recovering from the novel Coronavirus. The actor returned to the sets after a gap of almost 25 days. He shot for recorded scenes with his Shubhaavi Choksey (his mother – Mohini) and Pooja Banerjee (his sister – Nivedita). Parth was adorned in a light blue printed shirt with a blue vest for his big comeback scenes, and fans gave him a warm welcome.
4. Yeh Rihstey Hain Pyaar Ke-actor Sameer Sharma dies
TV actor and model Sameer Sharma was hung from his kitchen ceiling last night during his stay in Malad West. Accidental Death Report registered, body sent for autopsy. Given the condition of the body, it is suspected that he died two days ago by suicide: Malad police. #Mumbai

Actor Sameer Sharma, who played Shaurya Maheshwari in Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke died recently and sent shock waves over. The 44-year-old actor was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai’s Malad area. The police filed a case of accidental death and sent his body autopsy. Many TV actors like Nakuul Mehta, Hiten Tejwani, Kritika Kamra, Rhea Sharma, Arti Singh, Shivangi Joshi, Gurmeet Choudhary, Kaveri Priyam, Avinash Sachdev, and others mourn the death of Sameer Sharma.
5. Asim Riaz gets injured after being attacked while cycling

In an unusual piece of news, Bigg Boss 13’s first runner-up Asim Riaz was attacked by some men while riding on streets at night. He took to his social media group to chat about the unfortunate incident and showed the injuries he suffered on his body due to the attack. Asim revealed, ‘Asim is heard saying,’ I was riding at the moment. I had some guys arrive on the bike and hit me from behind. Not from the front. Everything is cool. I still do not give up. ‘
