Cain, briefly favored in the 2012 Republican presidential primaries, tweeted a photo on June 20, he and others at Trump’s indoor rally.

Cain has frequently downplayed the risk of Covid-19 on social media. While in the hospital on Wednesday, Cain’s account tweeted with approval the lack of social distancing restrictions at Trump’s upcoming Mount Rushmore event.
“Masks will not be mandatory for the event, which will be attended by President Trump,” Cain wrote in Twitter. “PEOPLE ARE FED UP!”
On June 29, the day he tested positive, Cain played down the coronavirus threat in Florida amid records of hospitalizations and cases in the state.
“The news is better than what they tell you,” Cain wrote in Twitter. And on June 8, Cain wondered about Twitter if the virus was weakening
In Tulsa, the seven-day average of cases was 104.4 on July 1, an increase of 17.4 on June 1, according to Tulsa Health Department.
Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s Pizza, 74, recently became a Newsmax TV contributor. In April 2019, Trump was close to Installing Cain in the Federal Reserve before Cain withdrew his attempt at consideration.
