Trump supporters rally in DC after the Supreme Court inflicted a second defeat on the president

Supporters of President Trump landed on Saturday in Washington, D.C., on another signal of support for the president, who is coming soon in an effort to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Supporters with Trump flags and hats chanted “Four more years” and “Stop Steel” at Freedom Plaza near the White House, urging Trump to continue fighting for the White House. The organizers of the first rally for Women for America expected a rally of 15,000 participants and a march to the Supreme Court.

Trump, who is scheduled to take part in an Army-Navy football game at West Point, was pleasantly surprised by another show of support at the Democratic Democratic Party in DC.

Trump tweeted Saturday morning, ‘Wow! Thousands of people are forming steel stops in Washington, D.C. “Didn’t know about this, but I’ll be watching them! #Mega

Trump later departed from the White House in a Marine One helicopter en route to New York. The crowd below at the rally commented on the Commander-in-Chief’s “flyover”.

During the last major “Stop the Steel” rally in DC on November 14, Trump and his motorcade waved to supporters before being driven to his golf resort in Virginia by a downtown DC crowd.

The Supreme Court pays for the hearing of the Trump-supported Texas case over the election results in four other situations.

Two pro-Trump groups applied for park permits for rallies on Saturday.

The “March for Trump” exhibition, organized by Women for America, began in the afternoon. Speakers included former Trump aides Sebastian Gorka, Boris Epstein and Katrina Pearson, who encouraged supporters not to continue fighting and not to accept the election results.

“I’ve read the constitution. I don’t think there is a Biden,” but I have read the constitution. And I know one thing: It’s not over until January 20th. “

Trump supporters made it clear that they would continue to fight back, regardless of the media and court rulings.

“In 2016 they had this thing called resistance, you remember?” Pierce told of the leftist movement against Trump. “You have not seen resistance until the patriots defend the republic.”

The second pro-Trump rally has been dispatched to the Silvan Theater in the National Mall, where organizers planned for 500 people as per the permission of their national park.

Meanwhile, the anti-Trump group “Refusalism” will ensure a counter-protest at Black Lives Matter Plaza at noon, with the message: “Trump: You got lost. Get out of hell! “

The rallies come a day after a major legal defeat for Trump, when the Supreme Court on Friday refused to hear a Texas case challenging election results in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Georgia and Wisconsin.

Trump has repeatedly alleged that he defeated President-elect Joe Biden, and claimed there was widespread voter fraud. But states are turning to their results, and the court has repeatedly rejected Trump’s legal claim that Biden’s victory should be thrown out of the country by more than B million votes.

The Supreme Court order does not anticipate any other pending or future election appeals to the Supreme Court, but time is running out.

The state elections are scheduled for December 14 for the election college exercise. And there will be a joint session of the House and Senate on January 6 to count the election votes and certify Biden as the winner.

On Saturday, the Biden Transition team praised the court for advancing Trump’s “baseless” legal claims.

Biden Transition official Michael Gwynn said in a statement that “the Supreme Court has quickly rejected the recent decisions of Donald Trump and his allies to attack the democratic process.” “This is not surprising – dozens of judges, election officials from both parties, and Trump’s own attorney general have rejected his baseless efforts to prevent him from losing the election. President-elect Biden’s clear and decisive victory will be ratified by the Electoral College. He will be sworn in on January 20. “
