Giuliani was admitted to Georgetown University Hospital on Sunday, a familiar source confirmed to CNN.
No additional details were given about his condition. It is not clear when Giuliani tested positive for the Covid-19.
Giuliani and his spokesman did not respond to requests for comment from CUL.
Giuliani has repeatedly disregarded public health guidelines, appearing masculine in the state capital, hotel rooms looms and indoor news conferences in recent weeks. At many events, most of the other people in the indoor settings didn’t even wear masks.
In some of these events, Giulini was seen shaking hands, hugging and taking photos while not wearing a mask.
He traveled to the Georgia Capitol in Atlanta on Thursday to attend the Georgia State Senate hearing on the November election. During the break in the hearing, Giulini removed the mask he wore to greet supporters and take photos.
He traveled to Michigan on Wednesday for a State House hearing that lasted four-and-a-half hours, during which he was masked as he advanced a misleading claim that the election had been stolen from Trump.
Giuliani was interviewed by satellite on Fox News just hours before Trump announced his diagnosis.
A 76-year-old person is considered to be at high risk of complications from coronavirus due to his age.
Giuli is traveling with Trump campaign attorney Jenna Ellis, who was by her side in all of the events surrounding the 2020 election last week.
Alice tweeted on Sunday “praying for Mayor @ Rudiguliani” and calling him a “tough warrior”. He vowed that the president’s legal team would continue its efforts to overturn the election results.

Last month, Giuliani’s son, Andrew, a White House employee, tested positive for the Covid-19 after attending a Trump campaign legal team news conference with his father in Washington DC.
Andrew Giuliani posted on Twitter on Sunday night that his father was “relaxed, very caring and feeling well.”
Giuliani has been working with the U.S. Department of Disease Control and Prevention Quarantine Guide since his son. Centers, and close liaison and campaign advisor Boris Epstein tested positive in late November. The day Epstein announced that he had tested positive, Giuliani traveled to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, where he addressed a group of Republican state legislators in a crowded hotel room.
Giulia was also close to Trump booster Bill White in Georgia, who attended a presidential rally in Valdosta on Saturday night. White shook hands and embraced Giuliani closely last week.
Georgia Democratic State Senator Elena Parent, who attended a hearing with Giuliani on Thursday at the Georgia Capitol, told CNN that Giuliani and his team “voluntarily put us all at risk to get Trump out of the way.”
“It was careless and irresponsible for the Georgia Senate Republicans to hold individual face-to-face hearings without the need for masks and social distance during the epidemic. “Parents said in a statement emailed to CNN on Sunday.
He added: “Mayor Giuliani’s blasphemous disregard for public safety measures in this epidemic is irresponsible and puts Georgians at risk.”
