“Randy Levine is a great friend of mine to the Yankees,” Trump said. “He asked me to shoot the first pitch. And I think I will do it on August 15 at Yankee Stadium. ”

The Yankees also confirmed that Trump will launch the first pitch in a game. If it happens on August 15, as announced, it will be before a game against the Boston Red Sox. Since he was elected president in 2016, Trump has not thrown the first pitch in a baseball game.
