Former game show host Chuck Woolery does not have a “love connection” with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Woolery’s comment on Sunday night on Twitter about the “scandalous lies” surrounding the coronavirus pandemic is going viral, racking up more than 20,000 shares and more than 50,000 likes, thanks to a retweet by President Trump.
“The most outrageous lies are those of Covid 19. Everyone is lying,” Woolery, 79, wrote on Sunday night on Twitter. “The CDC, the media, the Democrats, our doctors, not all but most, who we are told to trust. I think it’s all about the elections and preventing the economy from coming back, it’s about the elections. I’m sick of this.”
Apparently, after drawing POTUS’s attention, two more tweets from the original “Wheel of Fortune” host received presidential endorsement, including Woolery’s opinion on the reopening of schools during a pandemic.
“There is so much evidence, yes scientific evidence, that schools should open this fall. It is worldwide and it is overwhelming. BUT NO ”, he tweeted.
Trump also shared Woolery’s response to a fan: “Very well said.” – who called the Democrats in Congress “useless”.
Woolery was a mainstay of network television during the 1970s and 1980s, hosting many series of game shows, including “Love Connection” and a live-action version of “Scrabble.”
But, since 2012, he has moved on to political commentary, first with his nationally syndicated radio show “Save Us, Chuck Woolery” and currently as co-host of the conservative “Blunt Force Truth” podcast with author and entrepreneur Mark Young. .
