President Trump released a photo of himself promoting Goya products from the Oval Office on Wednesday.

In the photo, Trump is shown sitting behind his desk with two thumbs up. On the desk in front of him are Goya beans, condiments, white beans, coconut milk, and chocolate wafers.

Trump posted the photo around 2 p.m. Wednesday, when his daughter and White House adviser Ivanka Trump faced violent backlash for posting a separate photo of her posing with a can of Goya beans.

A post shared by President Donald J. Trump (@realdonaldtrump)

“If it’s Goya, it has to be good,” reads a caption alongside the photo of Ivanka Trump, which was posted to her social media accounts Tuesday night. The post included a translation: “If it’s Goya, it has to be good.”

Critics accused Ivanka Trump of violating federal ethics laws that prohibit federal employees from using their charges “to endorse any product, service, or company.”

Goya’s endorsement of the White House came after the company’s chief executive, Robert Unanue, praised Trump, saying the United States was “truly blessed” to have him as leader. Unanue’s comments inspired calls for a boycott of Goya, as well as counter-calls for Trump supporters to buy more beans.
